We have received clarification from our Hockey Nova Scotia Regional Director regarding participation options for female players who are interested in playing on an all-female team for the 2026-2027 season. We wanted to share this information to ensure families are aware of the available pathways.

Since CCMHA cannot accommodate all-female teams in your age division, you are welcome to pursue opportunities with an all-female program.

• Players can register with the Fundy–Highland Female Program.
• You do not need a release from CCMHA. 
• Hockey Nova Scotia will take care of the transfer process.

Within New Brunswick

• Players interested in playing in New Brunswick should register directly with the appropriate New Brunswick minor hockey association. 

• The transfer will be coordinated between Hockey New Brunswick and Hockey Nova Scotia once your application is received.
• The association in NB will submit the application to the Hockey New Brunswick Executive Director for review.
• If approved, Hockey New Brunswick will forward a transfer request to the Hockey Nova Scotia Executive Director for final approval.
• Registrars in New Brunswick have been briefed on this transfer process.
